CYBERPATRIOT IV FINALS MARCH 22-23

The one Arizona team competing in All-Service Division semi-finals, out of 14 state teams registered in the All-Service division, did not make it to this year's top-level Cyber Patriot competition.

The Army ROTC team from Sierra Vista High School, which took second place in last year's Cyber Patriot III, was not among the 12 teams announced by Hq AFA as advancing to the finals competition.

Finalists in the Open Division (charter/magnet, home, private/parochial and public schools) did not include three Arizona high schools registered in this division -- Sierra Vista, Desert Mountain in Scottsdale, and Tombstone.

Finals in this year's competition take place March 22-23, 2012, in National Harbor, Md. Visit www.uscyberpatriot.org for information.

Also at the CyberPatriot website is a link to the program's first newsletter, which is being named through a special contest.

CyberPatriot is the premier national high school cyber defense competition that is designed to give hands-on exposure to the foundations of cyber security. CyberPatriot is not a hacking competition. CyberPatriot's goal is to excite students about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education.
